That’s right, I started a Youtube channel. It feels silly, but I’m doing it because Garrett Robinson told me I had to. Okay, not exactly, but he said it’s a good idea for authors.
It will be me talking about my books (kind of behind the scenes, like DVD extras), who I am as an author, and what I’m reading, watching, and listening to that inspires me.

A drop of rain followed Allie’s bangs and dripped along her forehead then down her cheek. She reached her destination and paused for a moment to wonder if this could really be a school. The hedge walls surrounded the perimeter and came together on each side of an arch above her with a sign that read, “Vigil Junior High School.” It was more like a fortress straight out of one of her brother’s games. Her elementary school back in Hartsville had been no bigger than a small church and had one-hundred students making up all six grades. Compared to that, this new school was enormous. (more…)

The novel was a long time in the making, and was actually the first book I ever wrote. It includes an author note with some development diary information, and a good 500 pages of awesomeness.
PLOT: In a land where men and women believe they can become gods, a young man is forced to become the warrior he never wanted to be, attempts to earn the love of a woman he seems destined never to get, and struggles to find himself in a world of betrayal and intrigue.
